If you’re struggling to get your job search in high gear, this is the program for you. In four weeks, you will improve your resume, learn to use social media to your advantage, build a job search strategy plan, and prepare for interviews. 

The Job Search Kickstart is your path to a clear, successful job search. The Kickstart combines up-to-date career information with two individual strategy sessions with Anita Flowers, MA, to answer questions and help you stay on track and overcome obstacles.

Each week, you will receive step by step instructions - through worksheets and pdfs - to guide you through the job search process. PLUS you will receive resume and cover letter templates.

You will meet individually with your Job Search Kickstart coach for two 50 minute sessions to map out your job search plan, create a networking strategy, and receive resume plus LinkedIn feedback. Sessions are completed by phone or video chat so you can work the Job Search Kickstart from anywhere.

Step One: Resume Re-Boot

  • Update your resume using strategic keyword and strength placement tips. 

  • Learn a simple method to customize your resume for each job application

Step Two: Optimize LInkedIn/Social Media + a Cover Letter Crash Course

Step Three: Building your Job Search Strategy Plan

  • Build a personalized, step-by-step networking plan, complete with email templates, to kick off your job search

  • Learn how to research and target companies, even those who aren’t hiring today, to get yourself in the loop when jobs become available.

Step Four:  Polish your Interview Skills

  • Develop interview prep skills and find out what you need to know BEFORE the interview

  • Practice a short interview with your coach to get feedback on your interview skills

  • Learn how to dress for a video interview and how to upgrade your background

  • Learn a simple 4 step method to rock the answer to  “So tell me about yourself”
